Ilde and Oscar’s story began in college (Texas A&amp;M Kingsville), woven quietly through shared classes, mutual friends, and the everyday whirlwind of late‑semester studying. For years, they moved through the same hallways and sat in the same lectures without realizing that life was slowly nudging them toward each other. It wasn’t until their final semesters that they finally began talking — and once they did, everything started to feel different.Their study sessions quickly became a highlight of their days. Ilde and Oscar would often find themselves in spirited debates over who had the right answer to a homework problem. Ilde was confident, Oscar was determined, and together they turned every assignment into a playful back‑and‑forth. Even when Ilde was wrong — which she would insist was rare — Oscar never teased or dismissed her. Instead, he explained everything with genuine patience and kindness, walking through each step until it finally clicked.As the semester went on, their conversations grew longer, their laughter louder, and their connection deeper. They found themselves seeking each other out, lingering in moments, and realizing that being together felt natural. What started as two classmates helping each other through the end of college quietly blossomed into a friendship full of warmth, comfort, and an undeniable spark.Over time, that spark grew into something steady and joyful — a love built not on grand gestures, but on sincerity, shared moments, and the simple joy of discovering that the person you’ve been waiting for might have been sitting next to you in class all along.

Our Most Successful College Project

Maya Vivero Peña (MVP), our dachshund MVP — Most Valuable Pup — is a tiny creature of great importance. With her royal strut, expressive eyebrows, and impeccable standards, she has overseen wedding planning with the seriousness of a seasoned event coordinator. She approves color palettes, supervises seating chart discussions, and ensures her parents stay on schedule (especially when it’s time for snacks). Maya is adored, opinionated, and loyal to her inner circle, who alone are permitted the honor of giving her scratches.Although Maya holds a prestigious role in the wedding, she will not be attending the reception — and the reason is delightfully Maya. After fulfilling her ceremonial duties, she must return to her kingdom (the living room) before nightfall. There, she will curl up in her enchanted blanket, enjoy her evening feast, and keep watch over her domain while the humans dance the night away.She wishes everyone a magical evening and reminds you that she will be accepting compliments — from a respectful distance — at a later date.
